PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible metal clad laminated plate in which the occurrence of dimensional change when produced by a laminate method can be suppressed, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: The method of producing a flexible metal clad laminated plate is provided in which the flexible metal clad laminated plate is produced by bonding an adhesive film provided with an adhesive layer containing a thermoplastic polyimide on at least one side of a non-thermoplastic polyimide layer, and having a linear expansion coefficient of 23 ppm or more with a metal foil using a hot roll laminating apparatus having at least one pair of metal rolls. In the method, a protective material composed of a polyimide film is disposed so as to cover a part of a heating roll between the heating roll of the apparatus and a material to be laminated, a laminate composed of the protective material and a flexible metal clad laminated plate is conveyed in an MD direction while applying a conveying tension of 65 kg/cm-250 kg/cm after laminating, and the laminate after laminating is cooled at a rate of more rapid than 50°C/min and slower than 300°C/min. |
