<p>The present invention provides a medium collection apparatus and a medium processing apparatus, which can especially increase reliability, wherein a paper currency pool portion (20) is provided with a plurality of cutting grooves (50) with different sizes, arranged side by side along a vertical direction on a paper currency crash surface crashing with the front end of paper currency (BL) output by a collection roller (22), the plurality of cutting grooves (50) are etched along the width direction of the paper currency (BL), perpendicular to the output direction of the paper currency (BL), and used for supporting the front end of the paper currency (BL), the paper currency pool portion (20) enables the paper currency (BL) clamped and supported on the cutting grooves (50) to drop through blades and contains the paper currency therein, such that an automatic teller machine (1) can support the paper currency which can not be supported in the first cutting grooves (50a) in the second cutting grooves (50b) different from the first cutting grooves in size, thereby inhibiting the front end of the paper currency (BL) from dropping downwards.</p> |
