A door assembly comprising a door mounted within a frame 16 by hinge pins 32 extending between top and bottom edges of the door and frame. A baffle member prevents access to a ligature point around the hinge pin reducing the risk of suicide. The anti-ligature member may be a protrusion from the door or frame or may include a spacer 36 which covers any gap around the hinge pin. A plurality of spacers of different thickness may be provided. The door frame may be adjustable and the door may have an arcuate profile edge to eliminate gaps between the door and frame as it opens and closes. A concealed door closer 30 may be provided. |
