<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a colored layer allowing a spacer comprising a layered column having a sufficient height to be obtained while forming a colored layer and a layered column at the same time; and a manufacturing method of a color filter using the resin composition for the colored layer. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for a colored layer of the present invention has a contact angle of 4.0 degrees or more to a lower layer in a process for forming a layered column.
