A pipe coupler comprises a male part and a female part. The male part and the female part comprise receiving areas used for pipes. The male part can be introduced into the female part partially through a free end of the male part. The pipe coupler also comprises a coupling system formed by a lug and a conjugated shell and a waterproof sealing element at the connecting joint of the male part and the female part. The free end, which is to be introduced into the female part, of the male part has an external diameter less than the internal diameter of the receiving area of the male part, so that a gap is left between the male part and the female part and the mutual shift of the male part and the female part is allowed.
