1. A fabric fastening device comprising:
a substantially planar body extending a distance from a first end, to a second end opposite the first end; an aperture located in a central portion of said body, said body, said aperture having an area defined by a circumferential edge; a pair of projections extending from said opposing sides of said circumferential edge of said aperture to respective proximal ends; a gap positioned between said proximal ends; said body having a relaxed position, substantially planar with said projections substantially in line with a plane defined by said area of said aperture; said gap having a first distance between said proximal ends with said body in said relaxed mode; said body positionable to a flexed position for a duration of time when a compressive force is concurrently imparted to said first end and said second end; said body in said flexed position, causing a temporary repositioning of said proximal ends of said projections and said gap therebetween, to an engagement position adjacent to a side of said body and spaced from said plane defined by said area of said aperture; said gap having a second distance, larger than said first distance, when in said engagement position; and said body in said flexed position, positionable to a removable engagement with a portion of flexible fabric, by a positioning of said fabric between said gap, and a subsequent cessation of said compressive pressure thereby causing a repositioning of said proximal ends to place said gap at said first distance, said repositioning of said proximal ends to place said gap to said first distance, forming a compressive engagement of said fabric, between said proximal ends of said projections. |
