PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing number of connection terminals for connecting a recording head and a recording device.SOLUTION: A recording head (100) comprises: first terminals (111-114), a second terminal (115) and a third terminal (116) attachable to a recording device (150) and used for connection to the recording device; a drive circuit (120); an inspection circuit (121); and a resistance element (123). When an inspection signal for inspecting a connection state of the recording device and the recording head is supplied to the first terminals from the recording device, the inspection circuit outputs an output signal according to the inspection signal from the second terminal. When a control signal for recording is supplied to the first terminals from the recording device, the drive circuit drives a recording element according to the control signal, and the inspection circuit makes a state between the inspection circuit and the second terminal an opening state. The resistance element is connected between the second terminal and the second terminal. |
