The present invention relates to a system for selecting a layer-2 adapter, which comprises a layer-3 packet demand extraction module, a destination layer-2 address acquisition module, a layer-2 adapter indicator acquisition module, a suitable layer-2 adapter identifier selecting module, a packet buffering module, and a packet scheduling module. The packet buffering module is used for buffering a received layer-3 packet. The layer-3 packet demand extraction module is used for reading the layer-3 packet, and extracting a demanded type and parameter value. The layer-2 adapter indicator acquisition module is used for acquiring a real-time indicator parameter value of each adapter. The suitable layer-2 adapter identifier selecting module calculates an adapter identifier and a layer-3 packet index. The destination layer-2 address acquisition module is used for acquiring a layer-2 address of each adapter associated with a destination layer-3 address. The packet scheduling module invokes an external layer-2 adaptive driver, and the layer-2 adaptive driver completes packet encapsulation and transmission. The present invention can solve the problem of resource waste of multiple links, and the links can be dynamically used in parallel. |
