The present invention relates to a drying apparatus to lower the percentage of water in sewage and livestock manure in order to manufacture humus soil using the sewage and livestock manure. Provided is a simple mechanical drying apparatus in which scraps with high percentage of water are supplied to a rotary housing, and a cylinder type oil jacket covering the housing is heated to provide the sewage and livestock manure into the space between the housing and the oil jacket. Then, a small sized square screw attached on the exterior of the housing and a grid attached to the interior of the oil jacket dry the sewage and livestock manure by squeezing the same in the same way as a millstone with air provided from the outside.
