PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle electronic device, and an operation control method and an operation control program thereof making it possible to improve usability while suppressing a cost by simplifying mounting of a panel using an easy means.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle electronic device includes: a power supply device 6; a drive control unit 7 that tilts a front chassis 2 from an initial position to a panel mounting standby position where the front chassis 2 is tilted at a predetermined angle relative to a front surface 1a of a main unit of the in-vehicle electronic device, being triggered by initiation of power supply by the power supply device 6; a panel mounting sensor 8 that senses mounting of a panel 3 after or during the tilting of the front chassis 2 by the drive control unit 7; and an activation control unit 11 that when the mounting is sensed by the sensor 8, activates the main unit of the in-vehicle electronic device in a usable state, and that when the mounting is not sensed, stands by the activation of the main unit of the in-vehicle electronic device until the mounting is sensed. |
