PURPOSE: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve unit is provided to prevent the edge of the flap valve from being jammed in the interior of a valve flow path when the flap valve opens or closes the valve flow path. CONSTITUTION: An EGR valve unit comprises first and second projections(21,22) formed in the radial direction on the inner circumference of a valve flow path(11) with a phase difference corresponding to the interval between the center lines of virtual paths(R1,R2) which are parallel to each other. A rotary shaft(30) is installed in the valve flow path, corresponding to the first and second projections. Both edges of a flap valve(50) are hung on the first and second projections. A certain gap(81) is formed in the edges of the flap valve and the inner surface of the valve flow path. |
