PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of internal components and the deterioration of waterproofness which are caused by a narrow bar inserted from the exterior into a vent hole in a portable terminal device having a waterproof area therein.SOLUTION: This portable terminal device includes: internal components; a housing which forms a waterproof area therein and houses the internal components in the waterproof area; a first vent hole provided at the housing and leading to the waterproof area; a vent filter having waterproofness; and an external surface member disposed at the external side of the housing. The vent filter is fixed so as to close the first vent hole, and the external surface member is fixed so as to cover the first vent hole in a state where a vent passage leading from the exterior to the first vent hole is secured. |
