<p>A method and apparatus for use of chain. The chain is formed of shaped pieces connected to each other one after another at jointing points in jointing parts existing at opposite ends thereof by joint pins. The chain is driven by a drive arrangement that includes at least one chain wheel. A deviation of a center line(s) defined by the chain's successive joint pins from a curvature of the drive wheels and/or the turning wheels supporting surface when the chain gets bent over the drive wheel and/or the turning wheel is minimized by using shaped pieces that have jointing parts that exist at a deviating angle with respect to the center line(s) thereof.</p> |
