PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the torque of a motor by deciding an appropriate torque stopping pattern in accordance with the adhesive state between a wheel and a rail, when the wheel skips or skids and to secure the acceleration of an electric vehicle to the utmost. SOLUTION: A slip/skid controller controls the slip/skid of an inverter- controlled electric rolling stock which is operated by driving a plurality of induction motors, which respectively drive the wheels in parallel by means of an inverter. The controller is provided with a means, which detects the slip/skid of a wheel based on the maximum sliding speed value which is the difference between the peripheral speed of the wheel and the value equivalent to the speed of the stock and discriminates whether or not the addition of slid/skid control is necessary to power running and braking control as the normal control, based on the maxim sliding speed value and the output of a skid- slip control compensating means 100 and the means 100, which performs the skid-slip control by finding torque stopping command values with respect to the induction motors, based on the difference between a sliding speed command value and the minimum sliding speed value. |
