PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens capable of giving a new added value of eye makeup to spectacles.SOLUTION: In a configuration of a spectacle lens 1, an optical surface 2 of the lens is divided into an upper region 4 and a lower region 5 by a boundary 3 crossing a vertical reference line V passing a reference point 8 assumed as a pupil position. The boundary 3 crosses the vertical reference line V at a position which is shifted upward from the reference point 8 by a prescribed length L, on the vertical reference line V. The lower region 5 is a low-density region where the density is relatively lower, and the upper region 4 is a high-density region where the density is relatively higher, and includes an eye shadow effecting part 10 which is colored so as to produce an eye shadow effect when the lens is mounted on a spectacle frame. |
