A mobile electronic device has a sensor responsive to a magnetic field. A cover for the device has a body portion defining an interior cavity for receiving the mobile electronic device. A magnet and a ferrous metal element are carried by the cover. The ferrous metal element is magnetized by the magnet and positioned to be adjacent the sensor when the mobile electronic device is received in the interior cavity. |
