PURPOSE: A device and a method for manufacturing of an integral hollow drive shaft are provided to lighten the weight of a drive shaft, to improve natural frequency performance, and to lower a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A device and a method for manufacturing of an integral hollow drive shaft comprises a cylindrical body, a suction pipe, a cylindrical pipe(100), a swaging die(210), a pipe guide(220), and a pressurization unit. The swaging die is formed with a swaging groove in one opened end towards the inside. The swaging die inserts and pressurizes both ends of the pipe for swaging into a shaft shape. The pressurization unit pressurizes one end of the pipe and applies a pressurization force for pressurizing the other end into the swaging groove. |
