CLEANING AGENT FOR SCALE REMOVAL IN STEEL PIPE AND CLEANING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cleaning agent and a cleaning method using the same are provided to remove scale with a chemical cleaning method without the replace of a steel pipe and to enable use of the cleaning of a heat recovery boiler. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning agent for scale removal in a steel pipe comprises 5-20 parts by weight of chelating agent and 0.1-1.0 parts by weight of corrosion inhibitor. The content of the chelating agent is 12-15 parts by weight. The chelating agent contains 25-50 parts by weight of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. A scale removal method of a steel pipe comprises the steps of: injecting a cleaning agent including 5-20 parts by weight of chelating agent and 0.1-1.0 parts by weight of corrosion inhibitor into a steel pipe; and flushing the inside of the steel pipe to remove the cleaning agent.
