PURPOSE: An early rainwater reservoir equipped with a side inlet is provided to ensure an excellent early rainwater collecting function and to reduce efforts and costs for maintenance. CONSTITUTION: An early rainwater reservoir equipped with a side inlet comprises a main body, a joint member(142), and a floater(140). The main body comprises an inlet(102) in the lateral side. The joint member is installed in a joint part(143) formed in the lower inner wall of the inlet. The floater floats by the early rainwater stored inside the main body and is joined to the joint member for opening and closing the inlet.
