<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor device capable of more surely holding airtightness between the predetermined surface of a detected body and the contact surface of the sensor device abutted thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor device 1 is fixed to a detected body TV to detect the movement or the rotation of an operation part MP included in the detected body TV. The sensor device 1 is fixed to the detected body TV in a state where airtightness is maintained between the contact surface 11a of the sensor device 1 contacted with the predetermined surface of the detected body TV and the predetermined surface of the detected body TV. A case 11 constituting the outer shape of the sensor device 1 has a contact surface 11a and a side wall 11b formed to be protruded toward the rear surface of the contact surface 11a so as to surround the outer periphery of the contact surface 11a.
