<p>The present invention is an anti-allergen composition for reducing the allergenicity of an allergen substance such as mites or pollen, and makes it possible to allow an anti-allergenic processed product, such as a nonwoven fabric, textile, or textile product processed with the anti-allergen composition to maintain favorable durability and not experience coloration or change of color, without loss of function for reducing allergenicity, even when washed with water, and further makes it possible to use such compositions and processed products to efficiently reduce the allergenicity of an allergenic substance present in the environment. The anti-allergen composition contains microparticulate tungsten oxide having a mean particle diameter of 5 mum or less. The tungsten oxide may be tungsten oxide supporting a transition metal such as platinum, copper, zinc, nickel, or cobalt, and the anti-allergen composition of such description is processed to make a paint, coating agent, resin product, wallpaper, nonwoven fabric, textile, or textile product. A method for reducing allergenicity of an allergen substance comprises using the same in a person's living environment.</p> |
