PURPOSE: A display switch is provided to display a plurality of symbols in various colors with one device by applying a polarization principle to a display of the symbol. CONSTITUTION: A first light source(12) and a second light source(13) are selectively turned on. A first polarization plate(15) passes the light of the first light source. A second polarization plate(16) passes the light of the second light source. A first symbol(18) is composed of a third polarization plate passing the light only through the first polarization plate. A second symbol(19) is composed of a fourth polarization plate passing the light only through second polarization plate. The first symbol and the second symbol are overlapped with each other.
