<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic oil supply device for a transmission capable of efficiently raising the temperature of hydraulic oil to achieve early warming up of an oil pump. <P>SOLUTION: In the hydraulic oil supply device 21, hydraulic oil is pumped up from an oil pan 22 by the oil pump 12 provided within a case of the transmission, and the hydraulic oil discharged from the oil pump 12 is guided to supply targets 4, 5, 28 within the transmission. The hydraulic oil supply device 21 is provided with a heat insulating material arranged within the case and covering at least part of the outer face of the oil pump 12. When the oil pump 12 is cold, the hydraulic oil discharged from the oil pump 12 and then discharged from relief valves 33, 34 as surplus oil is returned from relief passages 33a, 34a to a suction side of the oil pump 12 via a return passage 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
