<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay capable of suppressing condensation/freezing at a fixed contact portion and a moving contact portion. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises an electromagnetic driving portion 50 including a coil 111 and a fixed contact portion 15, a moving contact portion 14 driven by the electromagnetic driving portion 50 so as to contact/separate wit/from the fixing contact portion 15, and a case 20 for storing the electromagnetic driving portion 50 and the moving contact portion 14. A rib 204 projecting out toward an armature 13 is formed at a position opposing to the armature 13 connected to the moving contact portion 14, on an inner wall of the case 20, and a flow of moisture generated in the coil 111 in a flow channel moving toward the fixed contact portion 15 and the moving contact portion 14 is dammed by the rib 204. Therefore, the condensation/freezing of the fixed contact portion 15 and the moving contact portion 14 can be suppressed, and a fear of causing contact failure can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
