The band has a fastening area for permanent attachment to a sanitary product. A closing area (19) is provided for simultaneous detachable connection with a surface of the sanitary product with a hook material, which is carried on a fastening carrier (4), of a mechanical two components sealing system. The fastening carrier has a recess (20) in the closing area. The recess is arranged under a base of sealing system components.
