PURPOSE: A lens meter is provided to measure a hyperopic portion of an ophthalmic lens at a good precision. CONSTITUTION: A lens meter(100) comprises a lens support(4), a frame support member(5), an aperture(53), a pad(61), a moving unit, a restraining tool, and a releasing tool. The lens support comprises a hole where a measurement light axis of a measurement optic instrument for measuring the optical property of lens(LE) passes through. The frame support member is slid to an approaching direction or a direction growing apart with respect to the lens support. The aperture is formed in a front surface of the frame support member so that the lens support is arranged inside the frame support member. The pad fits in the aperture. The moving unit can move the pad to a direction fitting in the aperture and a direction separating from the aperture. The restraining tool restrains a movement to the direction separating from the aperture of the pad by the moving unit. |
