The method involves forming a heavy or thick sheet metal made of an aluminum alloy material containing scandium (200), where the forming stage i.e. hot forming stage, confers the curves. The sheet metal is machined (300). The forming and machining stages of the sheet metal are combined, where the machining stage realizes network of reinforcement ribs. The machining stage is carried out after the forming stage, where the machining stage precedes the forming stage. The hot forming stage is provided with punching and dieing tools that are made of ceramic material. An independent claim is also included for a reinforced curved metal structure for a subassembly of an aircraft. |
