<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a valve to smoothly approach a maximum lift position when the valve is opened, to allow the valve to be seated smoothly when the valve is closed, to enable miniaturization with a simple configuration, and to enable significant reduction of manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control type valve driving device for an internal combustion engine includes: a hydraulic piston (22) attached to a valve (21) housed in a vale driving device (20) of the internal combustion engine to open the valve; a hydraulic pressure generator (33) for supplying hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic piston; a directional control valve (31) for supplying hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure generator to the hydraulic piston or discharging hydraulic pressure for the hydraulic piston; a hydraulic actuator (25) connected between the directional control valve and the hydraulic piston and driving the hydraulic piston by hydraulic pressure supplied or discharged by the directional control valve; and a flow rate control piston (41) installed inside the hydraulic actuator to control a flow rate at hydraulic pressure supplied to the hydraulic piston when the valve is lifted and controlling a flow rate at hydraulic pressure to be discharged from the hydraulic piston when the valve is seated to suppress driving speed of the hydraulic piston. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
