<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supersonic flow meter capable of highly precise flow rate measurement, in which: a housing traveling wave transmitted from a flow path housing and a fluid traveling wave transmitted within the fluid of a flow path do not interfere; and only a flow rate of the fluid traveling wave can be measured. <P>SOLUTION: A flow path housing 1 is metallic. Attenuating means 4a and 4b that may be intermittent with switches 6a and 6b are placed in terminals 5a and 5b of ultrasonic transducers 2a and 2b, respectively. Since flow rate measuring means 3 measures flow rate after the attenuating means 4a and 4b attenuate a housing traveling wave B, a supersonic flow meter can measure a flow rate of a fluid traveling wave A highly accurately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
