MARINE STRUCTURE HAVING A CENTER BALLAST TANK

PURPOSE: A marine structure having a center ballast tank is provided to reduce the fluctuation of a hull by a center ballast tank and to reduce bending moment applied to the hull by filling the center ballast tank with ballast water. CONSTITUTION: A marine structure having a center ballast tank comprises a partition structure, a portside ballast tank(3), a starboard ballast tank(4), and a center ballast tank(5). The partition structure divides the inner space of a hull(1). The portside ballast tank is extended from the portside of the hull along the longitudinal direction of the hull. The starboard ballast tank is extended from the starboard of the hull along the longitudinal direction of the hull. The center ballast tank is extended from the center of the hull to the partition structure along the longitudinal direction of the hull.
