A damper seal is shown installed in a fire damper assembly, and is shown in a plan view. Fire damper 2 is of pivoted blade construction and drops when a fusible link (not shown) breaks. The seal has a central portion 12 and end portions 15 spaced from the frame side 5,6. Returns 14 connect end portions 15 to feet 13 which are fixed to flanges 21, so that central portion 12 is biased against damper blade 2.
