The system has a turbine (E) arranged in a water supply duct (A) and connected to a rotor (D) of a current generator. A detection circuit comprises a transmitter arranged on the rotor. A receiver is arranged on a stator (C) of the generator. A control unit (H) comprises a microcontroller to deduce flow of fluid and to compare a value of the flow of fluid at a predetermined value. The control unit is arranged so as to control closing of a valve (G) when the value of the flow of fluid is higher than the predetermined value.
