PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a worker during work for connection with a device, and to shorten a working time.SOLUTION: The setting supporting apparatus has a communication unit, a determination unit, and a display unit. The communication unit includes a plurality of input/output ports, is connected to an equipment controller including a memory for storing therein a control program for controlling a control target device to be connected to the input/output port, and a processor for executing the control program, and acquires from the equipment controller connection device information correspondingly indicating the control target device and an attribute of the input/output port to which the control target device is connectable, and input/output setting information indicating the attribute set for each of the input/output ports. The determination unit allocates the input/output port having such an attribute as to connect the control target device to the control target device on the basis of the connection device information and the input/output setting information, and generates connection setting information indicating the control target device to be connected for each of the input/output ports on the basis of a result of the allocation. The display unit displays the connection setting information. |
