PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly perform an operation such as image file analysis for crime prevention, relating to a monitoring camera for recording an image which is to be monitored on an external recording medium as an image file. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera (1) includes an input/output unit (4) for connection to an external recording medium (8). A terminal device (9) as well as the external recording medium (8) can be connected to the input/output unit (4). While the external recording medium (8) and the terminal device (9) are connected to the input/output unit (4), the terminal device (9) and the external recording medium (8) can be directly connected so that an image file (12) recorded on the external recording medium (8) is controlled to be transferred to the terminal device (9).
