<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device having high reliability in which a device is strengthened more and the weight is lightened more, foreign matters do not enter an optical path in the dust guard structure, the initial high pickup performance can be kept. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a housing 10 having a concave part 11 for housing the optical parts of upward opening, a plurality of optical parts attached respectively to the prescribed position of the concave part 11 of this housing 10.
