PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus compatible with various data reading patterns of an image sensor. SOLUTION: Both the least significant bits of count values of an H counter 1 and a V counter 2 are synthesized to generate a timing signal CLBASET for defining a 2×2 repeating range. Timing registers TRCH are provided for each of input channels. The timing registers each have four registers for storing data to determine the color of each location in the repeating range. A selector TSELCH selects an output of the timing register on the basis of a signal CLBASET, and generates signals C0CS, C1CS for designating the color of a pixel at an independent time point for each input channel. A register BLR for storing black level correction data of each color is used in common for each input channel. The black level correction data at a certain point is selected by the corresponding signals C0CS, C1CS independently for each input channel, and is input into a preprocessor circuit of each input channel.
