PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discomfort given to a viewer due to different visual effects of the same object when switching a plurality of video streams. SOLUTION: The same object is detected between a first video stream and a second video stream which are switched from each other to give the same visual effect to the same object immediately after the switching. Thereafter, an image processing parameter is gradually changed to an original basic image processing parameter of the current video stream to reduce discomfort given to a viewer when the visual effects of the same object between the streams are different from each other.
