<p>A sheet metal security box for factory and depot use has a lid attached to the box by an offset hinge assembly, wherein a pair of box hinges are attached to the box and to each other by a rod or tube and a pair of lid hinges are attached to the lid and to the box hinges, whereby the lid slides using the throw of the hinge assembly to move the lid from an unlocked position to a locked position, the assembly being protected by the lid when locked.</p> |
