<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-resistant member having low sensitivity to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Ž<P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the corrosion-resistant member includes the steps of: preparing a member containing at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.1 to 3% Ti, 0.1 to 3% Zr and 0.1 to 3% Nb, by mass, in an austenitic stainless steel having an austenitic texture percentage of 80 vol.% or more; applying surface treatment to the member to form a surface-treated layer; and applying heat treatment at least to the surface-treated layer to recrystallize the layer.
