<p>The cylinder has a body including a part (1) provided with a sleeve (3) having a bore to form primary and secondary pressure chambers (17, 18) in which primary and secondary pistons (60, 61) slide. The sleeve is made of plastic material. Another part of the body serves as a plug (2) for the cylinder, and is fixed with the former body part. The body parts respectively have mounting plates (10, 20) that are perpendicular to an axis (XX') of the cylinder and connected with each other, where the body parts are made of pressed metal sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a master brake cylinder.</p> |
