<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage control device mounting a larger number of storage devices, and effectively cooling. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of sub storage units are provided inside a storage unit 40D. Each sub storage unit includes a plurality of hard disk drives 51, enclosures 52, and power supply devices 55. A cover 44 is divided into a front side cover 44F covering a front side of a case 41, and a rear side cover 44R covering a rear side of the case 41. Upper side faces of the hard disk drive 51 and the enclosure 52 include shield parts. The shield part contacts with an adjacent module (the hard disk drive or the enclosure) to reduce influence on a cooling air passage inside the case 41 even when the cover 44F is uninstalled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
