PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink for use in inkjet printing which satisfies both scratch resistance and luster property.

SOLUTION: This water-based ink for use in inkjet printing, includes at least a pigment and two kinds of resins, wherein one resin relatively contributing to pigment-dispersion does not deposit over a pH range of 4.0 or above to 6.0 or below, and the other relatively non-contributing to pigment-dispersion resin deposits over a pH range of 4.0 or above to 6.0 or below.
