PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supplying apparatus which does not waste power supplied from the outside, even when a rush current is generated during the start-up of a load apparatus. SOLUTION: The power supplying apparatus includes an input terminal 11; an output terminal 13; a charge circuit 15 to charge the power connected to the input terminal 11 to a secondary battery 17; a first switching circuit 21 to connect the input terminal 11 to the output terminal 13 when an output voltage of the secondary battery 17 reaches a prescribed voltage; a second switching circuit 25 to connect the secondary battery 17 to the input terminal, when a voltage of the power supplied from the outside is lower than or equal to the threshold; and a monostable multivibrator circuit 23 to time a period after the output voltage of the secondary battery 17 reaches the prescribed voltage, and a switch SW3 which sets the threshold to a first value for a prescribed period, after the output voltage of the secondary battery 17 reaches the prescribed voltage and sets the threshold to a second value which is larger than the first value, with the lapse of a prescribed period of time.
