LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the capacitance between various circuits mounted on a glass substrate and a common electrode. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, a gate line, a data line, a second substrate, a common electrode, and floating electrodes(330a,330b). The gate line and the data line define a pixel by crossing on the first substrate. The second substrate is arranged by facing the first substrate. The common electrode is formed on a display area in which an image of the second substrate is displayed. The floating electrode is formed on a non-display area in which an image of the second substrate is not displayed.
