<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aromatic polyamide film excellent in dimensional stability, mechanical properties, heat resistance, surface properties and economic efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The aromatic polyamide film comprises an aromatic polyamide and a thermoplastic polymer other than the aromatic polyamide, wherein the amount of the thermoplastic polymer contained is 20-150 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the aromatic polyamide, the thermal expansion coefficient in cross direction α<SB>TD</SB>(×10<SP>-6</SP>/°C) is -2 to 10, and moisture expansion coefficient in cross direction β<SB>TD</SB>(×10<SP>-6</SP>/%RH) is -5 to 5.
