PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for placing joint used in the repair of existing concrete comprising: applying an adhesive for placing joint to a face of the existing concrete to be repaired when the face to be repaired is vertical or toward an arbitrary downward direction; applying mortar or polymer-blended mortar as an undercoat in contact with the adhesive for placing joint; attaching a reinforcing net material; and applying mortar or polymer-blended mortar, and to provide a concrete repair method using the adhesive composition for placing joint. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for placing joint is applied to an existing concrete surface in the repair of the existing concrete comprising: applying an adhesive for placing joint to the existing concrete surface; applying mortar or polymer-blended mortar in contact with the adhesive for placing joint; attaching a reinforcing net material; applying a mortar layer-to-layer adhesive to the surfaces of the reinforcing net material and the mortar or polymer-blended mortar; and applying mortar or polymer-blended mortar. In concrete repair, the adhesive composition for placing joint comprising an epoxy resin, a water-dispersible polyamine-epoxy adduct, hydraulic cement and a polyolefinic pulp-like material is applied to an existing concrete surface. The adhesive composition for placing joint and the concrete repair method are excellent and enable to reliably bond the mortar or polymer-blended mortar applied as an undercoat to the base concrete.
