PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analyzer, a sample analysis method and a computer program for reliably re-reading identification information without increasing the entire process time even if the identification information such as a bar code can not be read. SOLUTION: At least one of a specimen vessel supplied with the identification information, a reagent vessel, an accommodation section for accommodating the specimen vessel and the reagent vessel, and an identification information reader for reading the identification information is sequentially moved to a reading position in which the identification information can be read. The identification information reader sequentially reads the identification information in the reading position, and determines whether the identification information is normally read. After reading of a plurality of the identification information is completed, at least one of the specimen vessel, the reagent vessel, the accommodation section and the identification information reader is moved to a re-reading position in which the identification information determined that it can not be normally read can be read, and the identification information determined that it can not be normally is re-read.
