PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footstep cleaning body improving installation work efficiency and improving flexibility of constitution. SOLUTION: This footstep cleaning body 50 cleans the footstep of a passenger conveyor transferring passengers from an entrance to an exit by being circulatingly moved between the entrance 2 and the exit 3. The footstep cleaning body 50 is brought into contact with both sides of the footstep 10 from above and is attached to the inner wall surface of a skirt portion 40 arranged below a pair of rails 20 with handrail belts 30 mounted on peripheries.
