摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of improving heat dissipation efficiency. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus that has a heat dissipation mechanism for dissipating heat generated in a housing 100 out of the housing includes: an intake opening 114 and an exhaust opening 134 arranged at the side of the housing so as to be tilted toward the outside of the bottom of the housing; an intake side chamber 118 and an exhaust side chamber 138 that are disposed in the housing so as to separate the intake opening and the exhaust opening from the inside of the housing and have ventilation passages by which the intake opening and the exhaust opening communicate with the inside of the housing; and a fan 140 that is disposed in the housing and generates a current of air between the intake opening and the exhaust opening. Thus, ventilation between the inside and the outside of the housing is maintained, and also liquid drops are prevented from entering the housing, so that the sizes of the intake opening and the exhaust opening can be increased without degrading a waterproof function.
