A real-time music bit cycle extracting method and a real-time music bit cycle extracting device are provided to extract continuous adjacent power increase rates by comparing power variations up to adjacent frequency bands, thereby remarkably increasing accuracy. Inputted music signals are converted into frequency responses(S101). The converted frequency responses are divided by frequency band(S102). Power in each frequency band and maximum adjacent power are measured(S103). Adjacent power increase rates and continuous adjacent power increase rates are determined in each of the divided frequency bands(S104). Cycles of the determined continuous adjacent power increase rates are perceived to extract cycles of bits(S105). The music signals of a time domain are converted into the frequency responses. |
